We loved the old school diner vibes here! It feels like you’ve stepped into a Time Machine and went back over 30 years in time. I love how they keep the original aesthetics going here. We ordered the chicken caesar and buffalo chicken salads that came in a nice, home style glass bowl. The food was delicious and service was friendly! Highly recommend this hidden gem in Carteret.
Get the challah French toast and thank me later. Top notch - hard to find a better plate of French toast. Everything was tasty, from the omelette (spinach and feta pictured) to the home fries and the coffee, both hot and iced. The menu is huge, so there’s something for everyone.
The food is always good. Especially, their soup. They are amazing. Today, 11/11/24, I had their Cream of Mushroom Soup, which was delicious, with a half of a pastrami sandwich. I only wish that my pastrami had been cooked more. It was still good though.
My mother and I are from Hamilton, not familiar with the area and we looked this place up on google. The food was delicious, the service by Cynthia was fabulous and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Highly recommend to everyone in the area, thank you so much.
I always order for pick up, I love there breakfast. I get the the combination platter with 2 eggs sunny sight up + Canadian ham so good thick tasty , and of course home fries amazing. Of course Coffe Always so good. I definitely recommend to try from a huge selection of food.
This was the first time I visited this diner, and the food was excellent. I had the Cream of Broccoli Soup and a Cheeseburger Deluxe Medium with a Pepsi Cola. The soup was nice and warm and tasted just great. The cheeseburger deluxe was a nice size hamburger with a couple of slices of cheese, cooked just the way I wanted it. Nice portion of French Fries and the tomatoes and lettuce was very fresh. Tomatoes were nice and juicy too. The Pepsi was nice and cold and you get a free refill as well. The service was top notch and I felt very welcome as a customer. Diner was very clean and comfortable. Will eat here again. You should try it if you are in the area. Prices are reasonable.

Quaint little old school type diner in a strip mall. Wouldnt think it would look old school by the outside. My burger was overcooked but it's not a huge deal for me because its a real burger made with chopped meat not a premade frozen patty. Food is pretty good. Went two days in a row because I was close by. The beef barley soup was good. The cream of spinach was so thick it looked like custard and it was a lil salty. Love that they have lunch specials tho. The soup and half a sandwich is a good deal. Got half a tuna sandwich. Good as tuna goes. I prefer albacore tuna to chunk light but most places don't use it. Onion rings were delicious. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area
We would always go to diners before we moved around. This diner is super friendly and had delicious food. Their breakfast was just what I needed!
Best diner on earth, we miss eating from here, all their food was soooo yummy, fresh, and always delivered with a smile. My son become best friends with one of the beautiful staff there that was so kind to him. She will be forever in our hearts!! What an amazing place this was ❤️❤️❤️
